FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Spotswood, N.J. The Gallery at the Academy is pleased to announce a new show featuring the photography of PhotosByGlenna. The exhibition will open with a reception given September 30, 2007 at 5:00 pm at The Gallery at The Academy, 508 Main Street, Spotswood, NJ. The artist will speak at 5:30 pm, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and meet with her during the opening.
Fifteen of PhotosByGlenna, works will be on display. Most will be color and focus on landscapes of sunsets or fall foliage. The dominant color will be orange. There will be a few black and white photos of music-related subjects.
According to the artist , “My goal and passion is to be able to capture the moments in time that we often miss. My photos should speak to your heart and leave you with priceless moments that will last for lifetimes to come. “
“There is an intimacy in these photographs that is moving. It makes one stop and think of those special moments in our lives that we miss and hope to recapture again. the artist has accomplished this beautifully.” said director Melody Blasenheim.
Kevan Lunney, curator of the gallery, said, “Although the artist has a successful business photographing relaxed and spontaneous portraits of children taken in natural light, I have selected to show her landscapes which have a more universal appeal. The same sensitivity that she displays with children is also evident in the late summer and early autumn landscapes that will be shown at The Academy.

I am pleased to announce that My picture " Tick walk" has been published In Life Images magazine. This came as quite a surprise. I had no idea !
I was also just told that two other pictures " Tangled" and " Morning light" will also be published in the same magazine.
I am pleased to announce that I was asked to do two different calendars for Captiva and Sanibel Island, One will be a Black and White one. One will be funky colors and fun stuff. I am so grateful for this opportunity
